Persia is a sea with no visible shore —

In it, gems of diamond hue do pour.

ولیکن من نرانم کشتی خویش

به دریائی که موجش بی نهنگ است

Yet I will not steer my ship, though rich it seems —

In a sea where waves hold no whales in their streams.
