گدای جلوه رفتی بر سر طور

که جان تو ز خود نامحرمی هست

You went to Mount Sinai, a beggar for the Divine Light —

For your soul was a stranger to its own sight.

قدم در جستجوی آدمی زن

خدا هم در تلاش آدمی هست

Set forth in search of a (Perfect) Man —

For even God seeks him across the span.
