1. Scope and who is responsible
This policy applies to ZindeRood’s public website, community accounts, sign-in services, and related communications. In this policy, “ZindeRood”, “we”, and “us” refer to the ZindeRood project that operates this website. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through our Contact page.
Links to other websites and services are governed by their own privacy notices. We encourage you to read those notices before providing information to a third party.
2. Information we collect
- Account and profile information: your email address and, when provided, your name, country, profile image, and how you heard about ZindeRood.
- Sign-in and account-security information needed to verify your identity, keep you signed in, recover your account, and show or end active sessions.
- Basic device and activity information, such as browser details and dates associated with account access.
- Service information, including limited diagnostics, error reports, and aggregate measurements used to understand reliability and usage.
3. Google sign-in data
When you choose Google sign-in, Google may provide a verified email address, account identifier, display name, and profile image. We use that information only to create, secure, access, or explicitly link your ZindeRood account and to display the profile information associated with it.
ZindeRood does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or files. We do not use Google account information for advertising, sell it, or use it to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. Your use of Google is also subject to Google’s own privacy policy.
4. Why we use information
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to provide the service you request, pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing ZindeRood, comply with law, or act with your consent. Optional profile fields can be left blank or removed.
- Provide and maintain your account, profile, recovery options, and session controls.
- Verify identity, prevent unauthorized access, enforce security limits, investigate abuse, and protect the website and its users.
- Send essential transactional messages, including verification, login-confirmation, and password-reset codes.
- Operate, diagnose, and improve the reliability, accessibility, and usefulness of ZindeRood.
- Understand acquisition channels in aggregate so we can improve outreach and help more readers find ZindeRood.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
7. How long we keep information
Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they cycle out under normal backup procedures. Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies an individual may be retained longer.
- Account information is kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterward when needed for account recovery, safety, support, or legal obligations.
- Temporary verification and session information is kept only for the period reasonably needed to provide and secure those features.
- Security, diagnostic, and aggregate measurement records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, abuse prevention, analysis, and applicable legal obligations.
8. Your choices and rights
To make a privacy request, use the Contact page and identify the account email involved. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting. Some information may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.
- Review or update optional profile information from your account.
- Review active browser sessions, revoke a selected session, or sign out everywhere.
- Delete your account from account settings and restore it by signing in during the 30-day grace period.
- Choose not to provide optional country or acquisition-source information.
- Ask us to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information where applicable law provides that right.
- Withdraw consent for processing based on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
- Complain to an applicable data-protection authority if you believe your rights have not been respected.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect account information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Access to personal information is limited according to operational need.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password or password manager, keep your email and Google accounts secure, review unfamiliar sessions, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. Children
ZindeRood is an educational resource for a broad audience, but community accounts are not directed at children who cannot lawfully consent to online account services in their location. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information without appropriate permission should contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate website or account notice when reasonably possible.
For privacy questions or requests, contact the ZindeRood team through the public Contact page.
