اسیر عالم کون و فساد است
‘A child of earth is Adam’, thou dost say. ‘Bond to the world of being and decay’;

ولی فطرت ز اعجازی که دارد
بنای بحر بر جویش نهاد است
Yet Nature wrought a miracle indeed – the seas foundations on his fount to lay!
