اَجَلّ کائنات از روی ظاهر آدمیست، و اَذلّ موجودات سگ. و به اتّفاقِ خردمندان، سگِ حقشناس بِه از آدمی ناسپاس.
سگی را لقمهای هرگز فراموش
نگردد ور زنی صَد نوبتش سنگ
و گر عمری نوازی سفلهای را
به کمتر تندی آید با تو در جنگ
