Tell the poet of vibrant verse from me —

If you burn like the tulip, what does it decree?

نه خود را می گدازی ز آتش خویش

نه شام دردمندی بر فروزی

You neither melt in the flames you inspire —

Nor light the dark evening of those in dire.
